Eagle at Sunset

Over the years Glenn, his son and grandson have had the good fortune to spend time outdoors together. These original paintings were inspired by some of these trips.
Glenn along with his son and grandson hiked the foothills trail. It's just shy of eighty miles long, cuts through three states and three national forest but mainly South Carolina. This area of the blue ridge mountains contains many beautiful waterfalls including the one painted above. Perhaps while on your own adventure you can locate it.

Another favorite family trip is kayaking to Bull Island in the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Anyone that has paddled this section will recognize the northern point of the island which leads to the famous bone yard. Nearly every trip is escorted by the local dolphin pod.
The bottom painting was the result of a day trip on Lake Moultrie South Carolina. Paddling kayaks to the Sandy Beach State Waterfowl area Glenn and his son stopped on an Island to rest and observed two very large eagles of the many that inhabit this lake.
